The Role of Youth in Nation Development
Teens are a great part of our society.
They help keep all of us young.
It's unfortunate that many people look down on young people simply for that reason, they are young.
Teenagers however contribute a lot to society in ways we don't even realize.
For one, a young person is moldable.
If you want to change how we act as a nation, you don't start with adults, you start with children.
America needs an attitude adjustment and we can start by teaching teens how to dress, act and speak.
When we do this we reach out to a people group that many say are dumb and selfish.
In many ways teens are hard to influence but if a person helps them out of love, they will listen.
In working with teenage students I've learned that they want to succeed.
They just need a channel in which to do their best.
This is why education plays such a vital role in our culture because education helps teens succeed and reach their highest potential.
Not one person is going to tell students not to go to school and get their education.
Adults can live out their lives through kids sometimes so they need to be careful on their approach.
The best way to talk to teens is with sincerity not authority.
When you tell teens that they only have one option, they will find ways to be rebellious.
So before you go off and tell a teen they need to do what you tell them, be sure to give them some positive options in which they can be productive.
