    • 1). Empty the contents out of the box and separate the different components so they will be easy to find when you need them.

    • 2). Consult with the instruction manuals to identify all of the parts, including the carriage bolt, spacer, bracket assembly, outer let and locking knob.

    • 3). Insert the spacer onto the left carriage bolt and insert it through the vise bracket assembly. Secure it with a locking knob. This creates the left-side leg of the dovetail.

    • 4). Insert the right spacer into the carriage bold and through the vise bracket assembly. Tighten with a locking knob to complete the right side of the dovetail leg.

    • 5). Twist in the rear brackets over each leg, aligning the holes together and securing them with a pan-head bolt and an M6 nut with a flat-bladed screw driver and nut driver.

    • 6). Insert the front bracket over the legs and secure them by aligning the holes and placing a pan-head bolt and M6 nut into the holes. Secure the bolt and nut with a flat-bladed screwdriver and nut driver.

    • 7). Insert the front slide blocks into the left and ride leg assemblies. Locate the vise jaw and the V-groove. Place the vise jaw over the two sliding blocks. Also place the V-groove over the two slide blocks with the clamp edge facing forward. Secure it with self-threading hex bolts through the recessed holes in the jaw. Use the nut driver to tighten.

    • 8). Locate the rod end of the pre-assembled vise screw. Insert it through the nut assembly in the front hole of the right-side leg. Perform the same step with the left leg. The pivot screw nut should be threaded only 1/4 of the way.

    • 9). Put the two rear side blocks on top of the pivot nuts of the screw assembly and the rear vise jaw and V-groove with the clamp edge facing forward over the slide blocks.

    • 10

Insert two self-threading hex head bolts through the jaw holes. Use a nut driver to tighten.

Slide the snap-in knobs into the handle arms and place the handle arms over the vise screw rod ends. Align the holes and nail in a roll pin with a hammer.

    • 12

Pull the rubber feet over the bottom of the legs. This completes putting the dovetail together.

    • 13

Loose the locking knobs and tilt the work center toward you while raising the front jaw to close the dovetail and put away in storage when not in use.
