Stainless Steel

• 1). Mix 1 gallon hot water with 1 tsp. ammonia.
  
  
• 2). Put the soiled stainless steel flatware in the ammonia solution.
  
  
• 3). Soak the flatware for 10 minutes. This will give the ammonia time to loosen the stains.
  
  
• 4). Remove each piece of stainless steel flatware and rinse it under clear, hot water. Rub it with a terry cloth to gently remove stains and dirt.
  
  
• 5). Dry the flatware with a soft cloth. Do not let it air dry as it will streak and develop water spots.
  
  

Silver

• 1). Apply a dime-sized amount of silver polish to a clean cloth.
  
  
• 2). Rub the polish into the silver flatware. This will remove the tarnish and the dirt on the flatware. Rub horizontally or vertically, but do not rub in circular motions.
  
  
• 3). Rinse the polish off with warm water.
  
  
• 4). Dry the silver flatware with a clean cloth.
