    • 1). Perform sun salutations. Stand with your legs slightly further apart than shoulder-width and bend your knees as your arms sweep to the sides, up to the sky when your knees fully extend.

    • 2). Employ a pose such as the fish to open up your lungs and chest area. This pose also stretches your upper back.

    • 3). Breathe deeply to relieve fatigue. Deep breathing helps you to stretch further to maximize the effectiveness of your poses. As you perform your poses, inhale slowly until you are full. Hold your breath momentarily before releasing the air as slowly as you took it in. This draws oxygen into your body and brain and can relieve fatigue.

    • 4). Select poses that work the rest of your body. The pyramid will address any energy problems you have in your legs. Place your left heel in line with the arch of your right foot and keep your hands on the ground while your head goes down.

    • 5). Look for poses that focus upon cardiovascular activity. Instead of static poses, something more dynamic is in order.
