- 1). Turn your stove dial to medium-high heat.
- 2). Fill the pot 2/3 of the way full with water while the stove eye is heating up. Turn the water off and place the pot on the eye of the stove.
- 3). Place the tea bags into the water when it begins to boil. Continue to boil for a few seconds and turn off the heat. Remove the pot from the heat and let the tea bags sit in the hot water for five minutes.
