- 1). Power on your headset, speakerphone or other Bluetooth device and place it near the Nextel 560 mobile phone.
- 2). Press the "Menu" button on the 560 and then select "Bluetooth" from the available options.
- 3). Select "Set Up" from the Bluetooth menu and then choose "Hands Free" from the available options.
- 4). From the Hands Free menu, select "Find Devices" from the menu. The phone will then search for all Bluetooth-capable devices powered on near it. Select the device you would like to pair with your phone from the list that appears.
- 5). Enter the passkey for your device into the 560 when prompted. The passkey is a series of numbers that are printed on a sticker on the device itself, or in its instruction book. The default passkey for many Bluetooth headsets is 0000. Once you have successfully entered the passkey, the Bluetooth device is installed on your phone and can be used.
