- 1). Wipe off as much of the shoe polish as possible with a clean, dry rag. Be careful not to smear it across the wall any more than it already is.
- 2). Wet a clean rag or cotton ball with rubbing alcohol.
- 3). Wipe the stain with the alcohol until it is gone. You may need to repeat this with a fresh rag or cotton ball as the shoe polish is picked up.
