Videos Invade the Internet!
Not only are they an extremely powerful marketing tool, but they are also very versatile and can be used in three different ways to generate extra income.
The first way to use a video is for the promotion of products.
You can promote your own product or an affiliate product.
You can use a video to sell anything - a service, a physical product, a digital product - in any market or niche.
Videos are relatively easy to create, convert like crazy and sell a lot of products.
The second use for a video is to get prospects.
Instead of getting someone to buy from you or buy an affiliate product, what you do is encouraging them to join your list ...
to become a prospect on your mailing list.
Certainly, you have heard a million times the money is in the list.
So you have got to build a list and video sales pages can help you do that by encouraging people to join your list.
The third lucrative use of videos is to get partners, either affiliate partners or joint venture partners.
If you have your own product one of the best ways, if not THE best way, to actually sell that product is to get an army of affiliates and joint venture guys onboard so that they go promote to their list.
Rather than just emailing these future partners or trying to get them by phone or sending them stuff through the mail, you create a short video telling your story about the product and why they should jump onboard.
What you choose to use your video for will determine the exact message.
Generally speaking, you are going to tell a story or paint a picture with your video.
You go through and actually explain to people what they are going to get.
There is a basic guideline or recipe that can be followed and certain ingredients, or psychological marketing triggers, that are necessary.
So how do we paint this picture ...
? First you need to pinpoint the pain your target market is feeling.
What is it like for someone without the product that you are promoting? How difficult is it? How frustrating is it? It may sound kind of nasty or a little bit negative to talk about the pain, but the truth is that people will never move or actually make a buying decision or change anything about their lives unless they are in pain.
People have a comfort zone and if their comfort zone is not causing them pain, they won't move.
And it's your job with your video to expose that pain.
Once you've gone through that, the next step is to explain the process.
You talked about the pain first and now you show them how your product is going to make it all better.
You have to explain the process behind using your product ...
what is it actually like, what it does, how it will benefit the buyer, explain how to use it, tell the price.
Explore the benefits ...
what is in it for them? The next step is to provide proof.
You can provide your own product review or get testimonials from people who have used it.
If it is an affiliate product, get testimonials and credibility from the sales page.
The other type of proof that you can use is the proof of the credibility of the person who is selling the product.
If you know that this person has an established credibility, name or record you can demonstrate that.
Rather than specifically promoting the product, you promote the owner's reputation to sell the product.
So you can get proof from the product owner, the product sales page or a personal testimonial.
With these guidelines, you can begin your own video marketing invasion.
Determine your target, your method of attack and follow the recipe.
The result will be victory - more traffic, more sales, more clicks, and more money.
