How to Clean Microsuede Furniture
- 1). Remove any pillows or cushions from the microsuede furniture. Pull the furniture away from the wall if necessary.
- 2). Vacuum the microsuede furniture and cushions thoroughly with an upholstery or brush attachment.
- 3). Fill a spray bottle with water- or solvent-based upholstery cleaner, depending on which type of cleaner is safe for the microsuede. If the furniture is very dirty, add three or four drops of laundry detergent to the water.
- 4). Spray the microsuede furniture evenly with the cleaner, focusing on any particularly dirty areas.
- 5). Wipe the microsuede furniture with a clean, white cloth or towel to remove any dirt or stains.
- 6). Press a dry cloth or towel onto the microsuede furniture to absorb any excess liquid. Allow the furniture to dry completely before replacing any cushions or pillows.
