How to Remove Mold on AstroTurf

    • 1). Place the AstroTurf in a well-ventilated area where you can also rinse it with a garden hose, if possible.

    • 2). Shake or vacuum dirt and debris from the AstroTurf.

    • 3). Put on rubber gloves and safety goggles.

    • 4). Add 3/4 cup bleach per gallon of water in a bucket. Pour the bleach mixture into a spray bottle, if desired.

    • 5). Spray or pour the bleach mixture onto the mold. Cover the affected area completely. Let the bleach solution sit on the AstroTurf at least five minutes.

    • 6). Scrub the area affected by mold with a brush.

    • 7). Rinse the AstroTurf thoroughly, and let dry.
