It"s hardly a QB competition between Bradford & Sanchez
Coming into training camp, there were some thoughts that perhaps Mark Sanchez had performed so well in OTAs with his growing confidence and maturity that he played himself into a fight for the No. 1 quarterback spot.
That notion took a big hit in the team's first practice on Sunday when Sam Bradford came in at 100% and handled every snap with the first team, leaving Sanchez with the second unit.
After practice, Eliot Shorr-Parks reported that Sanchez still believes there is a competition.
The whole competition angle was constructed by a very thing thread as is, so the fact that Bradford took all the starting reps despite playing in his first practice with the team really speaks volumes. There's a reason the team traded it's former starting quarterback in exchange for the former No. 1 overall pick.
Bradford is here to start and lead the team. Now that he is healthy, Sanchez will resume the role of being one of the best backups in the league.
