For the most part, most of the people here are extremely simple-minded.
These people are content with working for minimum wage, coming home to a TV, eating out, helping the kids with homework, and going to bed only to repeat the same process over and over again daily.
The more I talk to people, who are in this rut, the more I want to pull my hair out! I mean what happened to having dreams, having hope, and having money? When you were a kid, did you not say, "I want a mansion with maids and 8 cars in the drive way?" I understand life is complicated and things happen.
SO WHAT?! Why should that allow you to get comfortable with having nothing? My pastor always says "Be content but never satisfied!" This means be happy with where you are, because regardless you are blessed.
While in the process, strive for more because God's wants you to have it all.
I believe we as people are getting away from that concept but we really need to find a way back to it.
The first step is change how you view things in life.
Start using your brain to see that we are in America, the resources here are limitless.
Have you ever heard of the world wide web?! I'm pretty sure you have, this one tool alone can teach you how to do anything you can dream of.
All you have to do is go to Google and type in "how to...
" I guarantee you find your answer; it will definitely point you in the right direction.
Also people, examine who you hang out with daily.
If these people have nothing or want nothing and you associate with them, guess what that means for you? More than like you will have nothing because birds of a feather flock together and I'm here to tell you that adage is so true.
If you want to be rich, own your business, or just get a job making over 40,000 a year change the people you are around.
Talk to people who are doing these things, they will point you in the right direction.
Get a mentor, someone you can call on for advice as much as possible.
You also have to educate yourself.
I'm not saying you have to go to school but in order to change things around you, it will take some knowledge.
Look at it like this, there are people online who make millions of dollars and all they do is sit in front of their computers everyday.
As a matter of fact I plan on being just like them soon.
Last year I didn't know anything about websites, writing articles, or making money online but just by reading this article, wouldn't you say I am well on my way? In order to have the things you want out of life, you have to work harder to secure your freedom.
Nobody said it would be easy it just depends on how bad you want it.
Change the way you think and the people you are around and I guarantee you, you'll get everything you want if not more.
