Simmered Tempura

This dish is called tempura-no-tamagotoji. It's a good dish to make with leftover tempura.

Ingredients
  • 6-8 pieces tempura
  • 1/2 cup dashi soup stock
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp mirin
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten


Preparation
Put dashi soup stock, soy sauce, mirin, and sugar in a small skillet. Bring to a boil on medium heat. Place tempura in the soup and simmer on low heat until heated through. Bring the soup to a boil on medium heat, and pour egg over. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook until eggs is done.
