Simmered Tempura
This dish is called tempura-no-tamagotoji. It's a good dish to make with leftover tempura.
Ingredients
- 6-8 pieces tempura
- 1/2 cup dashi soup stock
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp mirin
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
Preparation
Put dashi soup stock, soy sauce, mirin, and sugar in a small skillet. Bring to a boil on medium heat. Place tempura in the soup and simmer on low heat until heated through. Bring the soup to a boil on medium heat, and pour egg over. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook until eggs is done.*Makes 1 serving
