Local Pest Control - Exterminate the Little Pests
I picture large rats chewing at the home structure or roaches lurking in the darkness, but pests can take many forms.
The dictionary defines a pest as - an annoying or troublesome person, animal, or thing; nuisance.
This definition leaves me with many thoughts of annoying or troublesome bugs and animals.
Each one has a purpose, I just don't want them in my house.
(Smiling) This may be ants, or spiders.
Or maybe larger animals such as mouse, squirrels, or gophers.
And there is the flyers - birds and bats.
This is a very short list of pests, you probably have your own list.
So what can you do about it.
Well, you could spend the time and energy to try it yourself.
I know the ants in my house reduces if the counters are kept clean.
But during the summer months the ants seem to just keep coming.
I need help.
What about the woodpeckers that just love to peck on the trim on the house? I don't know how to prevent this from happening, they fly away when I come near.
Help is needed here too.
Maybe a pest control company can help.
Okay let's say that I need a pest control company to help me with one (or more) of these pests.
Now what? How do I find one? I am a big fan of referrals.
I would ask people, that I know, about their pest control company.
I'd ask things like - What do they charge? Are the effective? Are they professional? This way you can get an honest opinion of this company.
Need more? How about the internet? More and more people are using the internet for their local searches.
Dry cleaners, bakeries, contractors and pest control companies are a small list of examples of who is being searched in our local area.
There are many local search engines - Google, Yahoo, Bing, Yelp all have excellent lists for you to search.
Many of them include an area for reviews.
Customers can log in and leave a star rated evaluation based on their experience with the company.
A very useful tool that many are using everyday.
Good luck with all your pest control problems.
