How to Change the Strap on the Panerai Watch
- 1). Use your Panerai screwdriver to remove the screw that secures the strap to the watch. Do this for both straps. If you don't have a Panerai screwdriver, any 1.4 mm flat-head screwdriver will work.
- 2). Remove the old watch straps.
- 3). Place the new watch strap between the two screw posts.
- 4). Insert a screw into the hole that is located on the screw posts. Be sure to push the screw all the way through the hole that is located on top of the watch strap. Use the screw driver to tighten the screw.
- 5). Repeat Steps 3 and 4 with the other watch strap.
- 1). Turn your Panerai watch over so the back of the watch faces upward. Locate the release button located on the back of the screw posts near the base of the watch strap.
- 2). Use your 1.4 mm screwdriver to press the release button. While doing this, use another sharp object to push the screw through the screw post. Panerai makes a special tool that can be used to accomplish both these maneuvers.
- 3). Pull the end of the screw out of the screw post. Remove both watch straps.
- 4). Place the new watch strap between the two screw posts. Insert a screw into the hole that is located on the screw posts. Be sure to push the screw all the way through the hole that is located on top of the watch strap.
- 5). Press the release button. While doing this, use a sharp object to push the end of the screw through the screw post.
- 6). Repeat the replacement procedure with the other watch strap.
