Though, TCM practitioners have already introduced their recommendations and tips of longevity.

Salt is known to be a white death. Slowly yet effectively salt accumulated in the organism, in bones and joints, thus obstructing normal metabolism and causing various issues of musculoskeletal system. The problem is that humans consume more salt than it is necessary. On average, our body needs 12-15 grams of salt per day. However, daily people overfulfill this norm no less than three times. And this is extremely dangerous. To compensate this it is recommended: eat fresh vegetables and drink water, rich in minerals. Daily volume of water needs to be doubled.

Acidic or oxidized fats are real harm to health. They are usually in the oil, used for frying fish, shrimp or meat. Long term storage of such products leads to the oxidation of the components. Fats with a modified, malicious composition are also found in dried fish, pickled meat, overdue cookies, cakes, in some varieties of noodles and pasta.

Eat products, which can easily alter their chemical composition. For example, flour or meal, cooked with a high content of oil, peanuts, beans, meat, fish. But the main thing - it should be fresh. Do not it spoiled food; besides damage to health and body, it encourages age progress.

If cooking, pay attention to the oil - no way it should boil. Frying over high heat leads to the formation of butadiene in the oil, a portion of which decomposes and turns into fumes and smoke. Incidentally, related researches indicated that the least detrimental effect on the chemical composition of the products have peanut and corn oils.

One more dangerous thing to human organized is scale, formed after boiling water. Experts examined the scale, found on the walls of unwashed mugs and teapots, and revealed it is an essential concentration of such harmful elements as mercury, aluminum and even arsenic. Thereby, it is recommended to wash cups, mugs and every dish, after it was used to contain hot (boiled) liquids, not to miss any spot with these chemicals - they are known to create deleterious effects on digestion, nervous activity, urination and blood circulation, and, of course, enhance ageing process.

This list of tips is a great supplement to numerous techniques performed by TCM practitioners around the world, including acupuncture and acupressure, moxibustion, massages, cupping and alike. Complex approach to longevity and health issues in TCM goes without saying.
