- 1). Lay the watch on a flat surface. It may help to lay a towel or T-shirt over the surface to prevent scratches.
- 2). Pry the back off the watch. You can use a watch repair kit that has stiff tools for removing the back. Insert the tool into the small notch on the watch back.
- 3). Remove the battery from the watch. You may have to turn the watch over for the battery to fall out.
- 4). Insert the new battery into the watch. Press it into place.
- 5). Place the back on the watch and press it firmly to reattach it.
