    Gloves

    • Gloves are a relatively inexpensive way to assure the safety of your favorite biker or sidecar rider. Gloves protect the rider from road rash on her hands, as well as providing her with a better grip on the bike's handlebars. Gloves come in a number of variations including summer gloves with thinner leather, fingerless gloves for a tougher look and better tactile sense, heavy winter gloves and gloves specifically waterproofed to keep the rain out.

    Heated Grips

    • Grips are a place where the driver of the motorcycle has some of the most visceral contact with the bike. When the weather is cold, holding the grips can take a lot of enjoyment out of the ride. Heated grips allow your favorite biker to have a pleasant ride year round without the suffering of cold hands that comes from grips cooled by the air.

    Hands-Free Communication

    • You've no doubt seen people in their cars or walking down the street talking to what appears to be themselves. Then you notice that the person you previously thought was mad is actually using a hands-free communication device. Hands-free communication devices from companies such as Bluetooth can also wirelessly connect music systems such as MP3 players. Further, for the biker with a sidecar passenger, hands-free communication systems can be used to facilitate communication at high speeds where wind often makes speaking impractical.

    Helmets

    • No one should be on a motorcycle without a helmet as a driver or a passenger. Helmets come in a variety of styles, including open face helmets, full face helmets and half helmets. Full face helmets provide the most protection, while half helmets are the most lightweight. Make sure that no matter what helmet you buy, it is approved by the U.S. Department of Transportation. If it isn't, the person you give it to will not be protected, they will also be breaking the law in states where helmets are required.

    Jewelry

    • Motorcycle jewelry is a gift that can be enjoyed by both the committed biker and those just dreaming. Just about anything can be found these days stamped with the image of a motorcycle and sidecar from belt buckles to rings and necklaces. You can search through a variety of price points from custom designed solid gold to whatever is lurking at your local novelty shop.
