Hi, I'm celebrity makeup artist, Chantal Moore, and today I'm going to show you how to choose a makeup that won't cause breakouts. In choosing makeup that won't break out your skin, the formula that you choose is going to mean everything. You want to look for words like non comedogenic, non acnegenic. You want to avoid synthetic chemicals, artificial fragrance, mineral oil, anything that's going to cause breakout so definitely look for products that do not contain these things. Today I'm going to use Smooth Indulgence Foundation by Dermablend and I'm going to use my ring finger and I'm just going to lightly go over the face just in the certain areas that you want to just even out the skin tone. This foundation is formulated to have more of a matte finish and it's also specifically formulated to prevent breakouts. So you can feel safe about applying a product like this to the skin knowing that it's not going to cause you problems later. Now one thing to consider when you're applying your foundation is you want to keep it light. You want to definitely have a light hand. When you apply with the fingers, this can help that and you just want to lightly tap, lightly conceal but really you want to keep it light because anything heavier than that will appear mask like and then you risk clogging the pores and causing those breakouts that you don't want to happen in the first place. So ensure that by just keeping it very very light handed and remember that less is always more. And you want to remember when choosing a blush, you want to look for all the same things that you would look for in a foundation to not break you out so you want something that's non acnegenic, non comedogenic that doesn't have mineral oil or fragrance. I'm actually going to apply a very lovely cream bronzer to Joanna's skin just to give her a little bit of warmth and warm up her face, give her a healthy glow and I'm using a sponge and I'm literally just going over her face and all of those spots that the sun would naturally hit but really really tapping it into the cheek, into the apple but then sort of blending it out lower, just popping out those cheekbones. You want to remember that you want your tools to be clean and not pose any risk to breaking you out as well. So I'm using a sponge which is very very sanitary. The sponge gives just a super super clean application, clean on the skin, no worries about breakouts from this clean sponge and just tapping it into the skin and you can see that light warm is just emerging onto Joanna's cheeks and there you go, beautiful fresh look for Jo that won't irritate her skin. And that's how you choose makeup that won't break you out. I'm celebrity makeup artist, Chantal Moore. Thank you for joining.
