    • 1). Apply a few drops of olive oil to a rag.

    • 2). Lubricate the carpet by rubbing the Halloween hair paint with the rag.

    • 3). Massage the oil into the paint in a clockwise, circular motion.

    • 4). Allow the oil to sit for four minutes.

    • 5). Scrape loose the Halloween hair paint using a plastic putty knife.

    • 6). Loosen any remaining paint by scrubbing it with soapy warm water.

    • 7). Dampen a rag with turpentine.

    • 8). Apply turpentine to the area using the rag.

    • 9). Allow the turpentine to sit for one full minute.

      Scrub away the loosened hair paint using a rag.

      Clean any leftover olive oil from the carpet using turpentine.
