    • 1). Find a solution that is safe for rubber -- certain solutions will say on the packaging that you should not use them on a rubber surface.

    • 2). Dip the end of a clean cloth into the adhesive removal solution. Do not soak the cloth in the solution -- just dip the end, or spray some of the solution onto the cloth.

    • 3). Rub the cloth on the rubber surface until the adhesive residue is removed. As the cloth dries, add more solution to the end of it and continue to rub until the surface is free of adhesive.
