How to Cook Flaked Black Beans
- 1). To cook dried flaked black beans, bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add equal amount as water of flaked black beans, salt to taste, cover and let stand for five minutes.
- 2). Add hydrated flaked beans to other ingredients of dish being prepared according to recipe. The bean flakes will finish cooking as part of the dish.
- 3). When adding flaked black beans to soups or dishes with plenty of liquid, you can add them directly into the food without pre-cooking.
