I'm Sarah, professional makeup artist and licensed aesthetician, and I'm going to show you how to apply four shades of eyeshadow. What you're going to need for this is a blending brush with soft bristles, one or more angled brushes, maybe a thicker one and a thinner one, also a nice round flat brush like this. For the four colors, basically you want to choose a highlighter, which is going to be your lightest color. Then, you want to choose your darkest color, which is going to go in your crease, and then for four colors you can choose two different colors that you would like to blend or put next to each other on the lid. So, we are going to start with a highlighter, and we are going to use that on her brow bone and it's a nice pretty highlighter. It's an ivory shimmer. So, we are going to do that right up here, and this will give a nice contrast and really highlight that brow bone, bring it inside and really do it all over. It's going to be our lightest color. Next, we can use the two colors that you would like to put on the lid. I'm going to use a gold and a light brown, and I'm going to put the gold on the first half of her eyelid and the brown on the second half. Again I'm going to use an angled brush, and I'm going to start with the first half of her eyelid. Whatever four colors you want to use you can, as long as you keep the tones, you know, a lighter one, a darker one, and then two medium colored ones. That's the principle that you should follow. Okay, so now we have the first part on her. The second half of her lid is going to be this nice, pretty, shimmery brown, and that's going to go on the outer half. It's nice and pretty. Now, we're going to come in with her darkest shade which is going to be a nice, just matte brown, and again apply it with the angled brush and start slow with this, so right in her crease we are going to get our darkest color and brush off any excess that might drip. That's okay, that's put it on the crease, then we're going to come back in with our blending brush and tie it all together with short, small little circles, and really you want to blend on the crease. You want to blend the two colors that we did on the lid together, and blend the darkest color we did nicely into the highlighter. It makes for a wonderful look. This completes how to put on four eyeshadow colors. Thank you, and for more tips you can check out glowbysarah.com.
