How Come It"s Okay For the Obama Administration Not to Have a Withdrawal Time Table?
The Democrats and their rowdy base demanded that the Bush Administration come up with a timetable as to when the troops would leave Iraq.
Obviously, if we had made a deadline, our adversaries, insurgents, and terrorists would merely wait until we left to re-start sectarian violence, and the killing of innocent people.
This would've also given victory to the terrorists and insurgents, and emboldened their ability to recruit, get donations, and highlight themselves on Al Jazeera to the Muslim world.
It is becoming readily apparent to me that President Obama's Administration is doing almost exactly the same thing is the Bush Administration did in a good many instances both here and abroad.
Therefore, it makes sense for President Obama, who railed against the Bush Administration and is now doing the exact same things, to make a formal apology to the former president.
And his party and his followers need to make an apology to the American People for their behavior.
Is unacceptable, for a presidential candidate to rail against the previous administration, and then do the exact same thing.
Some might say that that is political rhetoric 101, and I understand that we cannot trust our politicians to do what they say, however, when it comes to the President of the United States of America the American Voter should demand more.
We want a president who has integrity.
So, either President Obama lacks integrity when making all those comments, or he was naive and foolish in doing so.
This brings us to another question; why would we want a president who was either a fool, or a liar; do you see the point? It's a very valid argument, and a reason to believe that President Obama is not up for this position, and the Peter Principle has prevailed.
