How to Install Kitchen Handles
- 1). Pick out your door handles. Choose handles that match the aesthetic appeal of the kitchen. Make sure the handles you choose are going to fit the doors your are putting them on. Measure before you buy new handles.
- 2). Remove anything from the drawer and place the drawer on a table if you are installing handles on a drawer. Look on the inside the drawer (where the old handle is) and unscrew the screws holding the handle. Screw the new handle on.
- 3). Installing handles on kitchen cabinet doors is just as easy. Open the cabinet and unscrew the screws behind the old handles. Place the new handle in its place and tighten screws.
- 4). Remove the handles with a flat sharp tool (like a chisel) if the handles are glued on. Place the handles where the old ones where and use a glue like E-6000 or Elmers Probond Woodglue to bond the handles to the door.
