How to Make Artist Notecards

1). Select an index card that is in a solid color, white preferable. Standard 3 by 5 inch cards are adequate. Place the card in front of you on a protected work surface.
2). Create a background for your note card. You can either paint on a solid color, or splash a design of different colors. Use the acrylic paint set to create the colored backdrop you prefer. Let it dry for 2 hours.
3). If this is a promotional note card, create a design that showcases your talent . If this is a gift card, make a design that depicts something the recipient likes. When it comes to generic gift cards, create a design that is suitable to the occasion. To do this, use a fine point paintbrush and a stencil, or your own creative talent. Let the artist note card dry for several hours before sliding it into its envelope.
