Cheese, wine, biscuits and a fruit tart set the table in this cafe style scene. Unlike other scenes in the series, this one uses very subtle touches of red in the fruit wallpaper and with the red wine. The marble topped table and the leafy palm in the corner prevent the scene from becoming too dark.

When designing small vignettes like this try to maximize the view from the front. Here the lamps are on the side wall above the main display on the table.

They will provide light for the cheese board, as well as leave space on the back wall for the sign and the famed certificates, which break up the back wall but add important background to the scene. The silent butler is a wonderful way to present one special item, in this case a French Fruit Flan.
