Growing From Tribulations
Tribulation is a phase most people believe they could do without in life.
Its a natural reaction though and justified in many cases, no one ever wanted to be a part of misery, suffering, burdens, grief and all that is associated with Tribulation.
Before we as innocent children realize what is to come in life we believe that all is fun and games.
Birthday parties with all of our friends and our favorite superhero as well! Life is great! We are protected from a world that is lurking to feed us its misery.
All the while our parents take the pressure from us in the form of working to support all of our wants and needs.
Receiving seems endless and we start to conform to that belief that there will always be an abundance in life.
As we began to grow older we start seeing a change in a world that we believed to be perfect.
Now we are out in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees cutting grass to get the newest electronics we want due to our parents telling us no we will not purchase it, wow no, are you serious? In the process of "working to receive what was always given to us freely, we began to encounter misery from the 90 degree heat and pain from being feeble yet pushing around a heavy not to mention raggedy lawnmower.
We are ready to give up, "this is a bummer, what did I do to deserve this burden", we began to tell ourselves.
Right at the moment of quitting a familiar and sweet voice rings out, "put it in the garage and come here" by now the sweat is pouring and the smell is new, never had gas, grass and sweat mixed together at the same time come from me.
The burden is over, mom reaches the money needed to make the purchase that will make all of the pain and suffering worth it well atleast until the next day when your dad ask you to finish the rest of your tribulation.
Already still exhausted from a trial you dealt with yesterday that was unlike anything you've ever know, its there today waiting for you and guess what its even hotter than yesterday or at least seems that way.
Back to the garage, trying to start this piece of crap mower.
As the task becomes even more of a vexation to the body and now the mind, we feel we are becoming irrational, that system were working so hard for is not worth it anymore to us.
The joy of something that was so great to us has been sucked away by the heat of the sun, the sound of the mower and the pain in the lower back.
Right at the moment we are fed up we see that there is only a small path of grass left.
The frown and frustration is turning is turning into a smile and you began to feel worthy! Continuing on with a vigor that you made it, a sense of accomplishment grows over the body making all the pain and misery instantly subside.
Not to mention your parents are standing outside waiting with a glass of ice cold water! Your dad comes out and attempts to help put the lawn mower up but you got it! You show him with a look of victory and a sense of selfworth.
As you stand back and absorb the water into your body you can hear your parents saying what a great job you did and how proud they are of you.
Now as you start to think back at the beginning of that task, you never imagined you would feel the way you do at this moment, although your not too anxious to do it again but knowing if it has to be done, it can be!
