If your country folk and culture were being butchered, would you organize freedom fighters to defend your families and rights? So who is the terrorist? The terrorist is not the one fighting for equality and fair play so families may live and prosper. Greed is - terrorism - is greed - masquerading legally from the misinterpretation of life and the purpose of individual gain without taking into context all the people without exception.

      Questions follow questions because no one listens long enough to find solutions thus; questions pile up on top of each other. Soldiers are a by-product of a world gone mad with envy greed and intolerance to name just three opposites of love. However, modern humanity believes all things are attributes if there is a purpose or self-serving justification at the root of their manipulations. Most of us have sold our identities to exterior powers and modern day wars typify this deranged practice in modern societies.

      Do soldiers have a conscience or must they suffer blind obedience in the face of orders and commanders issuing orders? Another thought in a similar vein applies to politicians regarding blind obedience to political parties, or to the people who elected them. Unfortunately, there is no stopping point in a world that believes people are not just matter, but disposable commodities. The worst infraction is a fixed mindset that prevents harmony from flowing freely.

      Yes, humanity is crying for solutions that could save lives and produce quantifiable possibilities, but will not stop long enough to figure what those solutions are. Rebellions have failed and we allow the continuation to perpetuity of these nonsensical practices because we are blind to truth. We are all the same - one human body - with love at our core if we would allow the God in each to greet the God in others.

      In all wars, there are no winners but numerous deaths and victims on the periphery as well as in the direct heat of battle. This is where the quagmire applies to the title question. One may ask - ‘do soldiers forfeit their humanity to serve blindly?' It would appear they do! It would also appear that mankind has lost its humanity because of blind adherence to leadership with eloquent words. (Bullology is the correct term.)

      How is it allowable for soldiers to stand sentry duty and kill civilians as easily as if they were out shooting deer? How can any war tribunal close their eyes and mute their voices because a supposedly moral authority inflicts the infractions?

      Who is the moral authority that in any sense of fair play and justice can wield such power that superpowers with immeasurable influence become acquiescent? No one entity has the divine power to inflict massive death on any other entity with absolute impunity. Yet, it would appear they do indeed.

      There are two primary reasons America and Britain did not do to Israel what they did to Iraq– oil and God. Both are missing! Did Israel learn anything during World war Two? No! Are we going to allow massacres in the name of God in any section of the globe? If we are, then the entire world population is committing blasphemy against spirituality and worth.

The conflict in question here pertains to misinterpretation of the Bible and Israel believing they are superior when in fact no one is superior to anyone. There is no reason why Israel and Palestine cannot live in peace together - all it takes is Israel to admit the error of their belief system, which is false. God did not create borders, God did not create racism, sexism and God most definitely did not ordain the murder of people over land.  

Israel, there is a better way and you know it too. Let the Divine Light within all of us seek peace and harmony in all corners of the globe especially within our hearts, then it shall emanate.   

Thus, what can a soldier do? A soldier or even a bunch of soldiers can lay down their arms and demand an alternative to fighting and killing. This would take courage, faith, guts, and discernment with the knowledge that there is a more favourable, accommodating and gracious way. The answers reside with the unanimous decision that the consciousness of the people is not going to be swayed by greedy industrialists, intolerant politicians and stupid adherence to incorrect interpretations of God.
