Having a dog is a fun and great experience.
The more trained he is, the better the experience will be for you.
Remember those words.
You do not want your dog destroying your floors or furniture do you? You will need to learn how to house train a dog in order to prevent a ton of headaches that can be prevented.
I will show you some things you can do to house train a dog.
How old should a dog be before he gets trained?  Four months is the recommended age to begin.
When learning how to house train a dog, OBEDIENCE is the main focus.
That is what all the training you give will revolve around.
THIS IS BIG SECRET...
DOGS ARE MOTIVATED WITH TOYS AND SNACKS! Use this and you will succeed.
Rewarding them with a snack or toy when they behave well or do something that you want them to do will motivate them to do it in the future.
This is all part of the training you see.
You are training them to obey and behave.
So when they get rewarded, they will want to get rewarded again, thus they will behave.
Here are some simple commands To Train your dog to Follow: "To Come"- While your standing a few feet in front of your doggy, signal him a treat.
As he reaches for it, you say, "come" and hand a treat in a joyous manner.
This action will show your dog that his moves are praised and he would want to continue to be rewarded in the future.
Repeat the exercise as you slowly drop off treats.
If your dog starts to get bored, Reward him quickly.
Repeat this exercise until he learns it, then move on to this one..

"To Sit"- While standing, call the dog over to you while your holding a treat in your hand.
Next, raise your hand over the dog head and signal him to sit.
The dog will responsively look up at you as you prompt  your hand up over his head.
That act will force him to sit.
As soon as he sits, reward him with a treat while saying, "sit" After he learns that, move on to the next one which is..
...
"Down"- Start this exercise when the dog is in the sit position.
Place your hand on the collar, hold one of his treats in front of his face then move the treat downward onto the floor.
Instinctively, they will conform to your hand.
Again, give him a treat once chest reaches the floor.
Slowly decrease the amount of treat as you go along with the command.
 When learning how to house train a dog, just stay consistent and be patient.
Your dog will not obey your every word over night.
Keep doing it over and over again.
It is a process.
