Journey Of Sushant From Pavitra Rishta To Detective Byomkesh Bakshy
Who knows a guy who used to perform as a back ground dancer in International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) would be giving centre stage performance on the same stage one day. The small screen actor turned bollywood actorSushant Singh Rajput who made a terrific bollywood debut with Kai Po Che and has been on a roll ever since. Sushant better known for his role in PAVITRA RISHTA as Manav Damodar Deshmukh has stolen millions of heart by his acting skills where he played a role of a simple innocent human being. Sushant bagged several awards for Best Actor for Pavitra Rishta including Best Jodi awards with co star Ankita Lokhande, who he is dating since then. Sushant will be next seen in Dibaker Banerjee's latest movie Detective Byomkesh Bakshy.

BEFORE PAVITRA RISHTA
Sushant is a pampered child in his family, loved most by his mother, although he lost her when he was in 12th standard. He belongs to a family of doctors and engineers and the same was expected from him. So he joined Delhi College of Engineering as he wanted to stay in Delhi just to join Barry John's theatre classes and Shiamak Davar's dance classes. He went to Shiamak Davar for his love for dancing and to be with girls but later he discovered that this is what he wanted in life.
Initially he joined Shiamak's beginner course but soon got selected in his dance troupe. In 2005, he came to Mumbai to Yash Raj Studios to dance for Filmfare Awards. The first star he danced with was Aishwarya Rai and then went to Australia for common wealth games in 2006. After studying three years of engineering he found himself getting claustrophobic in college and wanted to be on stage. So he went to Mumbai, joined Nadira Babbar's theatre group and become a part of it. Â Two and half year later a turning point came into his life when Balaji casted him for PAVITRA RISHTA.

He left PAVITRA RISHTA after doing it for two years, and then he did Jhalak Dikhla Ja. One day he was sitting in the coffee shop when casting director Mukesh chabra saw him and auditioned him and finalized him for Kai Po Che. This was a great start to an incredible journey ahead. Later on, he did Yash Raj's Shudd Desi Romance with co star Parineeti Chopra and Vani Kapoor followed by Aamir Khan's blockbuster PK with Anushka Sharma.

Soon Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen as Byomkesh Bakshy in Yash Raj's upcoming movie. The film is based on detective character Byomkesh Bakshy created by director Sharadindu Bandopadhyay.
