Internet Marketing Tips - The Law Of Action
I don't think there is one marketer who hasn't seen the movie.
Well, I subscribe to another law that I find critical to success with Internet marketing.
Now don't get me wrong, having a positive attitude is very important.
If you walk around all day with a puss that would scare your own mother, you're not going to attract many positive people to your life.
But without what I call the law of action, you're not going to get very far in this business.
Okay, so just what is my law of action? Well, it's actually very simple.
You sit down, map out a game plan for your business, as well as a schedule, and then you simply take action on it.
Now if this seems simple and maybe even a little obvious, like the duh statement of the day, well, it is.
And yet, so many people have a problem with the concept...
especially the planning part.
Be honest, when you first started marketing online, you took a look at your blank computer screen and said to yourself, "Where on Earth do I begin?" You probably didn't have a clue.
Many don't.
Then, once you finally figure out what it is you want to do, making a schedule is the last thing on your mind.
You're grasping at every straw you can get your hands on just to get information.
You're buying every ebook in creation, and probably reading only half of them, if that many.
You buy scripts and ecover generators and all kinds of fancy tools.
You get yourself some ridiculous domain without even thinking about what you're going to sell and if that domain will properly represent it.
You go with the first hosting company you run into without even researching them first.
Hey, I did all these stupid things too when I first started because I was so overwhelmed.
What it got me was $28 of income in my first five months.
I was a mess.
Without a plan...
without sitting down and methodically going over all the things that you need and how you are going to go about executing that plan, you have close to no chance to succeed.
Oh, you might get lucky and stumble onto something, but it won't be by design.
But more importantly, if you get all these things and do nothing with them but just let them collect dust, nothing is going to happen.
You must take action for your business to take off.
It won't just happen by itself.
