Mobile phone manufacturer Nokia has launched a new downloadable service that allows its mobile phone users to order photo prints and photo gifts direct from their N Series mobiles.
The Nokia XpressPhoto service has been set up in partnership with CeWe Color, Europe's biggest photo company.
Ever since digital cameras and mobile camera phones became such a hit printed photos have been almost often forgotten about, as we carry our treasured photos with us digitally and have no need for printed memories.
Also it can often be time consuming and expensive to print off photos from a camera or mobile phone.
Nokia and CeWe Color, however, have come up with a simple and convenient solution to print photos - so that the humble photo album and photo frame could see a revival.
Nokia XpressPhoto is an application that can be downloaded onto certain N Series mobiles (a full list is available on the Nokia website).
Once the application is enabled on your mobile you can then send your photos directly to the service via the press of a button.
And if you don't fancy paying the data charges for sending your photo to the service, you can also send the photos via your PC.
Before you send the photo to Nokia XpressPhoto you can adjust the size and effects of the photo.
And choose from a selection of printing methods including gifts that your photo can be printed onto.
The photos will then be printed out or put onto your gift - such as a mug or t-shirt and posted to you within 2 days, (although gifts can take a little longer).
Prices start at 8 pence for a photo print and £6.
75 for a photo mug.
So if you have an N Series phone and fancy testing out the service, or want to use that 'dodgy' picture of a friend to put on a mug, download Nokia XpressPhoto and see what you can do.
