- 1). Turn on your phone and type "*#06#" into your phone's keypad. Your screen should then display its unique IMEI number. Write this number down on a sheet of paper.
- 2). Call your service provider and ask them for your unlock code. Give them your IMEI number when they ask for it. They may give you your unlock code over the phone, or send it to you by e-mail.
- 3). Navigate back to your phone's main screen and type "*01763*6371#" into your phone's keypad. The phone should reset its main screen.
- 4). Press "M > Settings > Security > MEP." Enter "0000" as the phone's code.
- 5). Press "Network > Deactivate" and press "Select."
- 6). Enter the unlock code given to you by your service provider. The message "Done" should appear on your screen, confirming that your phone has been unlocked.
- 7). Power down your phone and remove its SIM card. Replace it with your foreign or pre-paid SIM card, and you can now begin making calls on your new network.
