What I really enjoy about this cocktail is that once you prep the shrub, the rest of the drink comes together quite easily. That is what makes this perfect for holiday entertaining.

The shrub is very easy to mix up and has a nice array of flavors, including cranberry, Black Mission fig, rosemary, and peppercorns. You will want to make this a couple of days ahead of time, but when it's done, just add rum, port, ginger beer, and seltzer and you have a fantastic cocktail.
