Atlanta Technology Colleges
- Atlanta Technical College is part of the Technical College System of Georgia and offers associate degrees, certificate programs and diplomas in technical fields. The school offers 16 associate degrees primarily in business technologies, including marketing management, accounting, visual communications and computer programming. The school has an extensive certificate program that offers specialties in computer programming, health care, culinary arts and nutrition. The school aims to provide students with a solid skills base in a specific trade.
- Georgia Institute of Technology has six colleges that serve more than 20,000 students on its Atlanta campus. The school offers 36 undergraduate and over 75 graduate programs in its Colleges of Engineering, Architecture, Computing, Management, Sciences and Liberal Arts as well as pre-professional programs in legal, medical, dental and veterinary studies. - Southern Polytechnic State University is located in Marietta Georgia, 20 miles from downtown Atlanta. The university offers 30 undergraduate degrees in technical fields, such as computer engineering technology, mapping and surveying, information technology and electrical engineering. The university also offers 12 graduate programs and 12 professional certificate programs in the fields of engineering, business, computer science and design. The university has on-campus recreation facilities, including intercollegiate sports teams, student housing and many student organizations and clubs.
- Chattahoochee Technical College is part of the Technical College System of Georgia with eight campus locations including Marietta, a short half hour drive to Atlanta. The college offers 38 associate degree, diploma and certificate programs in six departments, including technical studies, personal and public services, health sciences, computer sciences and engineering technology, business sciences and arts and sciences. The college offers flexible scheduling with weekend and evening classes for students already in the workforce, job placement assistance and scholarships.
