How to Spot a Fake Juicy Couture Bag
- 1). Buy your bag from a Juicy Couture retail store or high end department stores like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus or Bloomingdale's. This is the best, but most expensive way to ensure that the bag you're buying is authentic.
- 2
FAKE
When buying a bag from an online market place or auction site, it's best not to order anything from China or Hong Kong as this is where the majority of replicas come from. If you find a bag that usually retails for $400 for $50, chances are highly likely that it's FAKE. - 3
Real
Look at the quality of the bag. Juicy Couture bags are expensive for a reason, so you won't see a real Juicy bag with sloppy stitching. One dead give away is to check the "J" stitching on the mirror fob. Real Juicy mirror fobs should have a well-defined heart shape and a well-define "J". Also, the "I am the Fairest." on the mirror strap and "Hello?" on the cellphone pocket should be embossed (you can see/feel the dent where the writing is) as opposed to just painted on. - 4
FAKE
I have never seen anything from Juicy Couture wrapped in plastic of any sort. Also, notice the shoddy workmanship and sloppy stitching. - 5
If the bag is listed as "New with Tags" check the tag. Fake tags are off-center and easy to spot.
