Homemade Chicken Tenders
- 1). Pour approximately 1/4 inch of oil into heavy skillet and heat to 350 degrees.
- 2). Pour milk into one of the shallow bowls.
- 3). Combine flour, salt and pepper in the other bowl. Mix well.
- 4). Use chef's knife to cut chicken breasts lengthwise into 1 inch wide strips.
- 1). Dip strips of chicken in milk.
- 2). Put chicken into flour mixture and turn to coat evenly. Carefully place coated chicken into the hot oil.
- 3). Fry four or five chicken tenders at a time for approximately four minutes on each side or until golden brown and crisp. Continue until all chicken is fried.
