Homemade Chicken Tenders

    Preparation

    • 1). Pour approximately 1/4 inch of oil into heavy skillet and heat to 350 degrees.

    • 2). Pour milk into one of the shallow bowls.

    • 3). Combine flour, salt and pepper in the other bowl. Mix well.

    • 4). Use chef's knife to cut chicken breasts lengthwise into 1 inch wide strips.

    Cooking the Chicken Tenders

    • 1). Dip strips of chicken in milk.

    • 2). Put chicken into flour mixture and turn to coat evenly. Carefully place coated chicken into the hot oil.

    • 3). Fry four or five chicken tenders at a time for approximately four minutes on each side or until golden brown and crisp. Continue until all chicken is fried.
