Carnival's cruise ship fleet consists of more than 20 ships that sail everywhere from the Caribbean to Alaska to Europe year-round. Each of Carnival's ships offers passengers their choice of interior, ocean view, balcony and suite staterooms as well as entertainment and activities for adults, teens and children. Carnival cruise ships depart from ports all over the world and many of the cruises that depart from ports in the Southeast and Western United States cruise to Mexico. - The Carnival Spirit and the Carnival Splendor take turns departing from the ports of San Diego and Los Angeles for voyages to the Mexican Riviera ranging from six to nine nights. Each ship departs the United States for Mexican Riviera voyages to ports in places such as Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, La Paz, Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco, Ixtapa and Manzanillo. Both the Spirit and the Splendor feature a spa, casino, nightly Vegas-style shows, specialty restaurants and programs for young children and teens. Shore excursions on both ships include water sports and sight-seeing adventure tours. Dates and prices vary on both ships.
- Carnival cruise passengers can enjoy a Baja Mexico cruise departing from either San Diego or Los Angeles for three to six nights aboard both the Carnival Paradise and the Carnival Spirit. The Baja Mexico cruises feature stops in the Mexican ports of Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas. Some of the Baja Mexico cruises aboard the Paradise and the Spirit make an additional stop in California on Catalina Island. Both ships feature swimming pools, hot tubs, nightly entertainment and more than six bars and lounges. With sports courts and teen clubs, everyone in the family has something to look forward to. Guests dine in the formal dining rooms, the casual buffet on the Lido Deck or in one of the specialty restaurants, including ice cream at Ben and Jerry's. Sail dates and prices vary.
- Carnival cruise guests can enjoy a number of cruises departing from more than five locations along the Southern United States for cruises to Progreso, Yucatan and Cozumel, Mexico. These Western Caribbean Cruises depart from Florida, Alabama, Texas and Louisiana for cruises lasting four to five days. Each of the ships that make the Western Caribbean voyage to Mexico feature pools, casinos, restaurants, sports and activities on board such as dance lessons, yoga classes and game nights. These cruises differ from the Carnival cruises departing California because they sail the Gulf of Mexico and visit the Eastern side of Mexico.
