Asheboro is located in the gently rolling hills of North Carolina. The area is home to a number of restaurants that offer French cuisine, a preference dating back to its historic roots. The village was founded on Christmas Day in 1796 and was named for Samuel Ashe, the governor at that time. The Asheboro-Greensboro area is connected by Interstate Highway 73. There is a casual and comfortable indoor dining room. French cuisine choices from the menu include: confit of duck leg; steak frites; grilled top sirloin with pommes frites and red wine sauce; and New York Strip au Poivre with pan-fried potatoes and brandy Madeira sauce.
