What:

The Louisiana Oyster Jubilee is the biggest oyster celebration held anywhere. There's always a huge oyster po-boy almost 350 feet long holding over 5000 fried oysters. It usually takes the public only about 15 minutes to eat the whole thing.

Where:

The Louisiana Oyster Jubilee is held on a spring Saturday on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans. It's usually held the same weekend as the Louisiana RoadFood Festival.

So, you can make two festivals in one weekend.

More Fun:

15 restaurants will participate in the oyster jubilee. Besides the food, there will be music and a Second Line parade to the Louisiana Road Food Festival on Royal Street with the Storyville Jazz Band, Mardi Gras Indians, and pirates from the Krewe of Jean LaFete.
