Download and install a software program on your computer that allows you to track medical expenses. With these programs, you enter each medical bill and its due date. Examples of software programs you can use include Quicken Medical Expense manager, Medical Bills Plus and Stabilix Health Companion. The cost for the software programs will vary.

Track medical bills using your smartphone. There are are many smartphone applications that can be downloaded and installed on your smartphone to track your expenses. Some of the applications will also allow you to schedule payments for your medical bills. Examples of smartphone apps include Splash Money, Ultrasoft Money and Adarian Money. The cost for each smartphone app will vary.

Use the My Medicare online web portal to track your medical bills if you are a Medicare recipient. My Medicare is a free tool offered to medicare patients by the federal government. In order to use the My Medicare portal, click the "Create An Account" link that is located on the front page of the portal. You will need your Medicare number, last name, date of birth, gender and zip code in order to register.
