I had just been given a pain killer by a nurse. I was in a hospital bed waiting the arrival of my doctor so he could perform my C-section. I was excited and afraid due to a previous miscarriage.
Not soon after she administered the Demerol through my IV and walked off, I soon found myself floating toward the ceiling and thought, Wow! This is a crazy drug!
As soon as I reached the ceiling, I found myself standing in my apartment kitchen at the sink. I heard my front door open and close and my father and father-in-law walked in with grocery bags filled with food. I couldn't make heads or tails of the situation because they both had passed away within a year of each other. Before I could say anything, I fell at a slow but steady pace back into my hospital bed.
I was terrified about what had happened. I don't know if they were sending me a message from beyond, but I delivered a healthy son.
My next OBE was a couple of weeks ago in my new home. I had stayed up late that night watching television. I started to doze off sometime around two in the morning, so I turned of my television. I don't know how long I had been asleep when I awoke not being able to move.
I felt a very strong evil presence lurking in my bedroom.
My husband works out of town a lot, so he wasn't there that night. I was finally able to move somewhat, so I dragged myself to his side of the bed.
That's when I could see myself still lying in bed! I dragged myself off the bed feet first, and when I stood up I was really wobbly and realized I was floating! Although I was floating what I believe was maybe a foot off the ground, I still couldn't move. I began to grab on to my bed post and other furniture until I was out of my room.
I made it to my kitchen, across through to the family room, grabbing on to counters and furniture along the way, and finally my son's room. I rubbed my hand all over his wall searching for the light switch and couldn't find it.
All of a sudden, I felt my body fall into my bed, slowly but steady like the first OBE. I immediately sent my son a text asking him to lie with me because I was so terrified. He came to my room really quickly, looking afraid as well.
Before I could tell him what had happened, he told me he was glad I asked him to lie in my room because he kept hearing something rubbing against his wall by the doorway, where his light switch is. Upon telling my son what had happened, we both came to the conclusion that the only reason I couldn't find the light switch was because I was floating a foot off the ground and didn't realize that the switch was lower than I had thought.
