Why Waste Time on Slackers?
The subject talks about how if you have team members in your downline that aren't doing anything, that aren't responsive, they don't reply to emails, they don't seem to be doing anything, it's best just to let go of them.
Why waste time on them? Concentrate on those who are productive.
And the first time I heard someone say this, I thought, 'Wow.
That's pretty mean.
Why would you want to just disregard them, like throw them away?' But when you really think about it, and you sort of put it in the mindset of being an employer, if you're an employer and you have employees, and you have an employee that's just sitting there and not doing anything while the other employees are picking up the slack, eventually you're going to fire that employee.
So taking that perspective and looking at it in your network marketing business, it's the same way.
You can't fire them.
You can't tell them to drop or quit from the business.
But you can move your attention away from them and concentrate more on helping and inspiring the team members that are doing something.
Because in a network marketing business, you do well as your team members do well.
They do well as their downline does well.
And everybody all together helps the main company.
So as the main company grows, you grow.
Now with SFI, there is a profit sharing component of earning an income.
Well, you need everybody working in order for the profits to go up, so that as the profits go up and the profit sharing is distributed, you earn more.
You don't really want to waste your time, which is literally what it is, on affiliates or associates and downline members that aren't doing anything.
So if you're a sponsor, you need to be active because the more active you are, and the more guidance you give your downline, the more the team members who are really serious about the business are going to shine, they're going grow.
And they'll be able to recruit more people just by knowing what they're doing and by following what you're doing.
So now that I'm back in network marketing again, and in SFI in particular, and I have a really super sponsor, and I'm really paying a lot more attention to what I'm doing, now I can see and understand what they mean by wasting your time.
If your people aren't going to do anything, they're just going to sit around, not log into their back office, not ask questions, not participate in forums, not show up on webinars, then it's time to focus your time and giving your best tips to your best affiliates because they're the ones who are going to go far.
They're going to help you.
You're going to help the company and you're going to be a lot more successful.
