  • 2). Look for a '50s era truck for the truck favored by many hot-rodders. The '55 to '57 trucks tend to be the most sought-after.

  • 3). Find a '60s era truck for those with a muscular, clean look. These trucks are divided into two distinct periods. The 1960 to 1966 trucks were a complete redesign from the '50s trucks. The 1967 to 1972 trucks are a more evolutionary design with a simpler look.

  • 4). Consider a 1973 or newer truck for a more modern model.
