Millions of people flock to Arizona annually to experience sights such as the Grand Canyon and The Colorado River. Arizona is a common destination for older people to get away from the colder weather where they live. These people are often referred to as "snow birds," because they migrate annually to warmer climates. Many of them travel in RVs to take a sense of home with them. - The Kit Carson RV Park is meant to combine the flavor and flair of the old west with modern technologies. You will not find a single paved road in the park, but you will find site-wide wireless Internet access, hook-ups for each space that include running water and sewer, and even a connection for cable television.
The park is located in Flagstaff, Arizona near the old west town of Red Rock, and is just a one-hour drive to the Grand Canyon. Between the park and the canyon, visitors will find all types of shopping options, restaurants and night life spots. - Apache Palms serves the heart of the Tempe, Phoenix and Scottsdale areas of Arizona and is a luxurious home base convenient to all three. Guests enjoy Internet access via Wi-Fi, cable television, sewer connections and running water. Activities and amenities close by include horseback riding, seven golf courses, restaurants, bars and upscale shopping centers.
The park itself features a modern convenience store, swimming pool, spa, fitness area, coin operated laundry facility and small cafe. - Tuscon is the home of South Forty RV Ranch. The park is close to a number of wild west attractions, Native American cultural exhibits and casinos that are tribe-owned.
