• There are three different cabins at Cabin Fever, each cabin located in a secluded setting. Nature provides the backdrop with apple trees, fishing ponds, trees and all the resident wildlife. For real seclusion, there are no telephone lines at any of the cabins. Two are authentic log cabins and all offer full kitchens. Couples can run to the store in the nearby city of Grand Marais for any essentials they forgot to pack.

Trail View Cabins

• Trail View Cabins, located in the Hiawatha National Forest, is less than a mile from Hovey Lake and other recreational areas. With just two log cabins available, guests will enjoy seclusion hard to find anywhere else. The rustic décor adds a cozy touch. Cabins have full bathrooms and well-equipped kitchens. Outside, guests will find spacious porches furnished with patio furniture and outdoor grills. Nearby entertainment includes Glass Bottom Boat Shipwreck Tours and Pictured Rock Cruises.

Peterson Creek Cabins

• Peterson Creek Cabins offers seven cabins for romantic couple getaways. Each cabin includes two bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and a bathroom. The cabins are near several inland lakes and Pine River, which allows for plenty of fishing and canoeing. Local wildlife include the white tail deer, squirrels, woodcocks and turkey. Area plant life also springs up in the springtime, creating a natural décor.
