4 Steps To Gaining Momentum in Your MLM
After a few months, I was having a conversation with a friend who was one of those who left and I asked him how the top distributor was doing.
He said that quite frankly, he did not leave our organization for the right reasons.
The new company had lured him to switch with a sizable cash bonus and stock incentives.
My friend mentioned that it he made a big mistake of leaving the company as the new company lacked the infrastructure required to build momentum.
He also said that people are dropping out left and right and he was even thinking of quitting the business.
Two lessons I learnt from seeing this happen are: Several things have to be present before an organization gains momentum and because the organization has developed momentum does not mean one can easily leave and create momentum elsewhere.
Momentum can be difficult to get started in your organization but once achieved can be a leader's best friend but it can also be easy to lose.
Lots of network marketers lose patience with the process and never experience how having momentum can impact their business.
Say the company you are with has been through the formulation and pre-launch stage and is experiencing momentum.
What we're talking about is now there is an exponential growth where the company is making anywhere from fifty million to five hundred million in revenue and the company is becoming a household name.
If your network marketing company is experiencing this that's good as we know that when it comes to what time to join a MLM company this is a great factor to look for.
What's better is that during that time your team is also experiencing momentum.
How can you create momentum on your team, benefit from your company's momentum and get your business growing exponentially? Regardless of your organization's size with these four principles you can develop momentum in a short time.
1.
Make the decision to do so: Determine your vision for the future for you and your team.
What's the goal for your organization? Set a time and date by when you want to get it accomplished.
Once this is determined you will have the clarity you need to pursue the outcome you seek.
2.
You have to identify and create leaders: You made the decision now you will need a buy in from who is in or out on your team.
This can be done with your core team or your mastermind team.
Ken Blanchard states it best when he said "None of us is smarter than all of us".
This is the time where you and your core team set up your game plan.
How do you know who's a leader? A leader is someone who has clear vision, high level of belief and very passionate in implementing these goals.
Leaders will present themselves to you not by talk but by their actions.
3.
Utilize a system to present your opportunity: This makes it simple for your new people coming in to present the opportunity and most importantly it allows duplication.
By focusing on using the tools for example DVDs, conference calls and having everyone following a system your business eventually will move away from you and take on a life of its own.
4 Have a I will not be denied attitude: This is the time when you and your core team making your decision and taking massive action to sign up a massive amount of people in a short time.
Two weeks of your life with you and your leaders making the push can change the rest of your life.
When there is momentum in an organization people get inspired and step up their performance.
This creates synergy as the team is more successful than they would be otherwise.
It's the little things combined together that creates momentum.
You will go through lots of people during this process but the results will be worth it.
