Ohio Northern University

• Located in Ada, Ohio Northern University offers several scholarships to international students majoring in pharmacy. Scholarships are awarded upon admission and are renewable annually for up to six years. The Dean's Global Scholarship, Dean's Distinction Scholarship and Dean's Recognition Award are all awarded to international students annually. Award amounts vary depending on monies available, the number of candidates and qualifications. Although SAT or ACT scores are not required of international students for admission to the university, the scores may be required for consideration for the Dean's Global Scholarship.

• The University of Michigan College of Pharmacy offers the Elizabeth Broomfield Scholarship.
  Founded in 1994 by Elizabeth Broomfield, who graduated from the college in 1937, the scholarship fund provides financial assistance to international students pursuing a degree in pharmacy. Special consideration is given to students intending to return to their home country after graduation to practice in the field of pharmacy.
  
  

International Order of the King’s Daughters and Sons

• The International Order of the King's Daughters and Sons scholarship is offered to students in a pharmacy program. International students are eligible to apply for funds if they are in their third year of a four-year program, unless enrolled in a medical doctor or dentist program. Scholarships may be used at any accredited four-year or graduate school in the United States or Canada. Applicants must send a stamped, self-addressed envelope with a letter stating their intended field of study and current college level to the organization for consideration.
  
  

Considerations

• Many colleges and universities throughout the United States offer scholarships in the pharmacy field that are not specifically for international students. Although these scholarships may be more competitive, based on the number of general applicants, many do not have citizenship requirements. Applying for these scholarships increases your chances of finding a suitable scholarship for your pharmacy studies.
