Reglan Drug Side Effects
- Side effects include tremors, fever, stiff muscles, confusion, mask-like facial appearance, jaundice, seizure, suicidal thoughts, depression, hallucinations and restless movements of muscles in the face and mouth area.
- Reglan should not be taken if you have an allergy to this medicine, bleeding or blockages in the intestinal area or seizures. You should not drink alcohol with this medicine because it will increase the side effects.
- If you have any of these side effects or allergic reactions, stop taking the medication and call your doctor. Your stomach may need to be pumped, depending on severity of symptoms.
- Always take this medication as prescribed. Do not take any medication not prescribed for you and do not take longer than three months.
- After the medication has been stopped, you may experience a headache and nervousness. Consult your doctor if these side effects occur.
